I have a relative that is a patient at this horrible facility. Patients are all over the facility unattended and being treated like animals. The staff members on the third floor are rude and heartless. One CNA refused to put the patient in the bed stating she is not covered under Workers Comp and she is not hurting herself. The food is sometimes unrecognizable and they just dump the trays whether the patient can feed themselves or not.

They did not help our 84 year old loved one eat after a stroke, nor provide her with fluids. She was dehydrated after 3 days and had to be transported to the hospital. Trying to reach someone on staff and get answers as to why she was not answering her phone was almost impossible. They have no phone resin on duty and you continue to get a message on the main line that they are closed.

You have to stay on them and be present to make sure they care for your loved one properly. The facility is pretty clean and I never smelled an odor. The rooms are a nice size and the residents have a private bathroom and sink. Not all is bad here but like I said earlier, only place your loved one here if you can visit daily or if they are pretty independent and can change and feed themselves.

Whenever I need information about her doctor appointments or what medicine she is on I can call the D.O.N Farris and she goes over everything and she is real patience. The kitchen manager even made me a lunch tray when I was there and the food was good. My mom will be here for 100 days so she will be leaving soon but if she ever need to go back i would let her go back.
I do not recommended having your love one live here unless they are pretty independent or unless you can visit them daily to make sure they are properly looked after. I can only wonder what my mother went through while she was in isolation. This place along with most nursing homes are about their bottom dollar.
